Are implant treatments a lot more expensive?
Q: Are implant treatments a lot more expensive?
A: It simply made much more sense to place two implants (which don’t decay) and build a new three-unit bridge over them. I have performed many cases similar to this with excellent results and find that the patient is very satisfied with this treatment plan. In the long run, implants are cost-effective, because if you keep on replacing one bridge with another, you are doubling and tripling the cost of that bridge. Implants usually have a longer more predictable lifespan.
