What are dental implants?
Q:What are dental implants?
A:A tooth implant is a permanent dental restoration that functions, looks and feels like a real tooth. First, a metal post is implanted into the jaw bone to provide a stable base for the replacement tooth, known as a crown. Then, once the implantation site has healed and the post has fused to the bone, we affix the crown over the implant post, leaving you with a natural-looking new tooth. The entire process takes 3 to 6 months to complete.
